“The Easy Way To Get Rid Of Wrinkles

Wind, heat and chemicals and the natural effects of aging all cause a certain amount of wrinkling in everyone... but it is much worse in people who spend a lot of time outdoors.

Years of exposure to the sun can cause "photo aging" which includes freckles, yellowing, roughness, visible blood vessels and dark spots- as well as wrinkling!

Typically, as a person gets older, the sweat and oil glands become smaller in size and can become less numerous.

This causes the skin to lose moisture and to dry out, and it soon begins to sag in places where the collagen has weakened the most.

The skin around your eyelids, jaws, and neck are all especially thin and therefore, almost everyone is prone to naturally aging.

Much wrinkling is "pre-determined" genetically from one's parents.

Although some may have a genetic predisposition to severe wrinkling, it is known that overexposure to the sun promotes and only makes wrinkles worse.

Physicians will recommend daily moisturizing creams including those with hydroxy acids in them and those products with sunscreen already contained in the cream.

SPF 15 is the minimum amount of sunscreen required and it's usually recommended to get a higher SPF.

Physicians will also advise you to be realistic in your anti-aging methods.

It is not possible to repair deeply furrowed skin or the tiny blood vessels that appear with photo aging, but wrinkles, dark spots, and rough, coarse skin can be improved with topical tretinoin.

This medication, which is only prescribed by your doctor, must be rubbed on daily for several months before any improvement is noticeable.

The only downside to this product is that it hasn't been tested for a long enough period to know what the side effects are.

Another option that your doctor may explore with you is a chemical peel.

This causes the skin to peel as it would after a sunburn. Although this method improves fine wrinkles, it can cause scarring if it is not carefully limited to the surface layers of the skin.

To prevent the wrinkles from having a chance to form, don't use a sun lamp, cover up while outside and apply sunscreen whenever you are outdoors.

When exposure to the sun can not be avoided, you should try to wear a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and possibly tightly-woven clothing.

You may not realize this, but the sun can cause damage even on a cloudy, winter day.

In addition to covering up, you should apply sunscreen before going outdoors- thirty minutes before, to be exact.

Always remember that water, sand, snow and concrete reflect the sun's rays and increase the likelihood of a sunburn.

One of the easiest things you can do is keep the skin from drying out.

Use a moisturizer on a regular basis, especially after washing. A good lotion or cream applied to the dampened skin will help keep it from drying.

The cream will trap and hold moisture on the skin's surface assisting your body from drying out or showing wrinkles and imperfections.

Although there are no miracle drugs that will free us from wrinkles indefinitely, we can take precautions like these before the wrinkles start and perform preventive maintenance to stop the wrinkles from worsening.

Put your best face forward- you don't have to hide behind crow's feet and lip lines...
