“Secret Stylist Tips And Tricks

Some of Hollywood's top stylists sat down with us to discuss their secret tips and tricks... ones that YOU can use.

First on the list is the hottest hair looks of the season.

The first look is called "nature girl."

Appropriately so, because it is considered an extremely low maintenance look.

On the runway, the look showed with tousled tresses and haphazard parts.

Be careful however- you should never take the trend too literally.

The basis behind the nature girl look is simple: embrace what you already have.

Love your hair's natural texture and flow and don't fight your curls or straightness.

You should dry hair naturally to give it a welcome break from the heat of styling.

The secret behind the nature girl look is to give nature a little "boost" in the form of hair products that will minimize the negative tendencies of your hair.

To get this look at home, add a smoothing or volumizing product to wet hair and allow to dry naturally.

The second hottest style is a look called "Face Off." The idea behind face off is a new trend involving pulling the hair off of the face.

Hair is gently, never severely, swept up and away.

To get this look yourself, dry your hair as normal, then gather your hair into a loose ponytail or up do (or just pinned in one section) and leave the rest of the hair to hang loose.

Secure shorter sections with bobby pins and don't worry about some pieces falling loose.

Another beautiful accessory to the face off style is to add a loose, long ribbon to your ponytail to add an extra flash of feminine flair.

The last look we will discuss today is the Windy Ways look.

Imagine a natural look, or hair swept off the face, and add an extra element of ease.

At many of the latest fashion shows, the models can be seen with straggly pieces, textures and crimping, and just downright messy hair which adds a bohemian look to many of the new fashions.

It's truly the opposite of a structured style.

Its body is free spirited and, in the right environment, can work for a day or an evening.

To get this look yourself and feel the fabulous freedom, allow hair to dry naturally, then either sweep it up into a loose up do or let it flow loosely.

Randomly tousle sections with your fingers.

Another hot stylist tip is to take your denim and make it versatile!

Denim is starting to be found everywhere- even in places where before it was considered oh so taboo!

To wear your jeans everywhere, follow these simple ideas...

     Definitely do dark denim.

Your faded, worn-in jeans have a worn-in, weekend feel, while crisp jeans in a dark indigo rinse are a touch more formal and look awesome with most tops.

Choose a pulled-together cut. For weekends, baggy boyfriend jeans are comfy but for a night out on the town, try a sleeker look.

Boot cut jeans with a low rise are a perfect example of something you could wear as the cut gives you a leaner, more sophisticated line than a baggier cut would.

Weekend jeans are great when accompanied by sneakers or flip-flops, but what makes a great pair of jeans even better is a pair of really sexy, dramatic footwear.

Sexy, strappy heels lengthen your legs, as long as your jeans are long enough to cover most of the heel.

     Our recommendation?

Try a pair with pointed toes and a slender heel for instant chic. If you can't deal with heels, try a pair of ballet flats in a wild color like silver.

You can then give your jeans an Audrey Hepburn-like appeal...

To give your outfit of denim the icing on the top of the cake like it really deserves, add in a dramatic shirt.

For nighttime, leave your jeans' usual companion- a lovely T-shirt- at home and opt for a luxe, evening fabric like satin or chiffon. Feel free to try sequins too.

     Lastly, accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

The finishing touches on an evening jeans look requires accessories.

Go for the glitz here- add chandelier earrings or hoops, a bold cocktail ring or a metallic clutch.

Anything more demure like pearls or diamond studs is way too daytime.

Stylist tips are helpful but you should also be developing your own unique styles and your own tips that help you develop into the woman you want to be.
